Women in Technology Algeria Conference, is an international event, which explores research findings, focusing on Women in Computing in Algeria and the Arab World in all IT sectors (Entrepreneurs, Industry, Faculty and students). This conference is founded by Meriem CHEHIH, Responsible of Arab Women  in Computing Algeria Chapter, Member of the executive committee  Annual Arab Women in Computing Conference, in collaboration with a team of researchers from  the Arab World (ArabWIC Algeria and Globally), EU and the US, as well as the WCMP, AOP and the Minister of ITC of Algeria.  This conference focuses on representations, the opportunities as well as the diverse challenges facing women in computing in Algeria and the Arab world.

The event is a series of conferences, panel discussions, a poster session, and a career fair, that will focus attention on the research and career interests of women in computing and information technology. Prominent regional and international women in computer science, IT industry professionals, and entrepreneurs are invited to discuss research and innovation in computing, opportunities for collaboration throughout the region and world, women representation in IT fields, entrepreneurship, and the role of women in tech start-ups, promotion, gender gap, and positive trends as well as difficulties in the field.
