On August 9, 2016, Co-Founder & CEO of Mintrics Tarek Shalaby joined TechWadi for the seventh edition of the TechWadi/ABANA Webinar Series. Mintrics, is a platform that provides comprehensive social video analytics, which allows brands and content creators to understand exactly how their videos are performing and what needs to be done to spend less and get better engagement.

According to Shalaby, “55 percent of all consumer internet traffic is video.” He also shared that as of last year, “Facebook reported that it receives over 8 billion views daily” via video while “YouTube on mobile alone reaches more youth than cable TV.” Shalaby launched Mintrics, a video analytics startup, because he and his team saw the value in helping their clients understand the science behind video content creation. Mintrics provides its clients with ways to analyze video content across Facebook. The tool provides custom metrics covering reach, retention, engagement, spend and more.

To date, the site has analyzed over 220,000 videos from all over the globe, including those by:

  • National Geographic
