Abdullah is a serial entrepreneur. He founded GlobalTelecom, a telecom infrastructure services company in Egypt. Abdullah also co-founded AMANT Antennas, a wireless design firm. Prior, he worked for Alcatel-Lucent Middle East, where he managed pre-sales activities for mobile wireless carriers across the region. Abdullah is currently pursuing his MBA at Stanford`s Graduate School of Business where he is intimately familiar with the university`s entrepreneurship activities as the President of the Entrepreneurs Club. Abdullah holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University and Virginia Tech respectively. While a student at Cairo University, he helped co-found the Egypt chapter of the IEEE Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) program. As a result, Abdullah is intimately familiar with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the MENA region as well as a large sub-section of current entrepreneurs and business leaders.
