Anas Osman is Google’s Vice President of Strategy and Operations for Cloud and is based in the Bay Area.

He joined Google in Chicago in 2011 where he was Google's Director of Sales Strategy and Operations for the Americas.

Previously he was at Discover Financial Services where he was Vice President of New Card member acquisition.

Prior to this role, Osman led Discover Card's strategy and new initiatives/new product development as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Planning.

His work was credited with leading to many successes for the company and he was the youngest vice president in the company’s history.

Osman started his career by launching the Internet firm, aimed at helping consumers choose financial services providers online. The firm hired a veteran of Andersen Consulting, W. James Fischer, as CEO, and later was sold to a retail bank.

Osman has been named to the prestigious “40 under 40” list published by Crain's Chicago Business. He is an inventor for a business method patented on “Pay-for-Results based Marketing,” and a patent for credit card rewards, “Rewarding Good Consumer Credit Card Behavior.”

Osman earned his M.B.A. From the Kellogg School of Management and his B.A. In Economics from Northwestern University. Outside of work, he sits on the board for Techwadi, the Pillars Fund, and has also founded and directs an educational non-profit organization.
