Dec 15,2010

TechWadi’s sold-out December 15 event brought together 100+ technology leaders and entrepreneurs from the Bay Area and beyond. During the mixer, we celebrated our accomplishments in 2010 and looked forward to a bright 2011. We also heard from our mentors and members about progress in many fascinating initiatives, including:

  • The upcoming first event of 2011 – a Silicon Valley mixer welcoming a distinguished delegation of MENA startups to the Bay Area on January 11, 2011
  • The imminent launch of a PlugandPlay incubator in Cairo, and plans to expand soon in the Levant;
  • The most promising startups we are currently mentoring, and the opportunities for our members to directly engage
  • The roadmap for 2011 including geographic expansion in the Maghreb and Saudi Arabia, and the partnership with the World Bank to provide grants and internships.
