On ​T​uesday, February 9​th,​2016, we aired our first TechWadi online webinar series featuring our Head Mentor and P​artner Lead, VCs and Startups ​at Google, Sharif El­ Badawi. Sharif covered the current state of the Middle East’s entreprenerial ecosystem through his platform M​ENAscapes.com,​ a one stop for all information related to startups, investors, and main ecosystems players in the MENA region. S​harif also discussed MENA tech trends and their implications on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as what’s exciting investors in Silicon Valley about the region.
The webinar was hosted at 7 partner locations in the Middle East​, where viewers gathered to directly ask their questions and discuss the presentation with fellow entrepreneurs.

  • Despite the increasing number of exits coming out of MENA, exits areconsidered a key component of a true startup and venture capital ecosystem.
