On May 12th, the TechWadi team met with a group of 9 international emerging leaders in small business development and entrepreneurship selected by U.S. Embassies in Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, and Tunisia. They were given the opportunity to travel to the U.S. for a professional exchange program under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. The goal of the IVLP is to provide firsthand knowledge about U.S. society, culture, and politics, while cultivating lasting relationships. By connecting current and emerging foreign leaders with their American counterparts, IVLP fosters lasting relationships and helps strengthen U.S. engagement with countries around the world.
