Dr. Ghassan introduced several main points during his presentation such as making Saudi Arabia a hub for entrepreneurs and startups in the MENA region. He also talked about the role of the government as being a critical part of change in supporting SME’s. Techwadi was thrilled to have Dr. Ghassan as a speaker for such an important mission that the Saudi Arabian government is trying to accomplish. As his talk came to an end, Dr. Ghassan mentioned the importance of collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors in support of 2030 vision.
Saudi Arabia’s vision for the future reflects the country’s strengths and and capabilities, expressing the long-term goals of the Kingdom. The vision is built around three themes/pillars: a vibrant society, a thriving economy and an ambitious nation. The SMEA aims to support high-tech entrepreneurs and to foster entrepreneurship throughout Saudi Arabia which is at the core of the TechWadi mission. We look forward to future collaboration between TechWadi and the SMEA in order to support Saudi entrepreneurs who are the drivers of innovation and agents of change.
