April 22 – Wael Ghonim on Revolution and the Future of Egypt

On April 22, over 500 students, professionals, and community members gathered at Stanford University to listen to an eyewitness account of the Egyptian Revolution, and to learn of the initiatives underway to regain not only political but also independent freedom.

Wael, a Google MENA executive and leader of the We are all Khalid Saeed Facebook page credited with jump-starting the January 25 Egyptian revolution, was recently chosen as part of Time magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People, and visited Silicon Valley to help rally the expatriate community to help Egypt rebuild after Mubarak.

Wael shared his web page allowing volunteers to sign up to help Egypt.
